By now, you’re probably well aware of my monogram obsession. If you’re not, take a look at THIS, THIS, THIS & THIS.
See. I told you. I love me some monograms.
Everything is better when it’s monogrammed…including soap. Especially handmade soap, which is crazy easy to create. You’ll need a few items to create your own soap, but once you have the supplies on hand, you can go to town and create tons of beautiful gifts.
- White Melt & Pour Soap
- Soap dye (optional)
- Fragrance of your choice
- Soap Mold
- Clear & Simple Stamps Alpha Monogram Stamp set
{1} Place monogram into the soap mold. Make sure your stamps are clean! Stained stamps may leave colored impression in your soap.
{2} Cut soap into chunks and weigh out 1lb, which will yield about four 3×3″ bars
{3} Place soap into a Pyrex bowl and microwave in 30 second intervals until all the soap is melted.
{4} Add color and scent. For 1lb of soap, you will need .25 ounces of scent. For the color , add as much as you like to achieve the desired shade. When working with white soap base, your color will be pastel.
{5} Pour mixture into mold
{6} Allow to harden for 3-4 hours.
TIP: To remove from the mold, use a knife around the edges to loosen.

What a great (and beautiful) idea! I think this is the perfect gift idea…Thanks, Amber!
Hi,
maybe I missed it, but where do you get the monogram stamps that you used in the soap?
Mary
Great idea and beautiful packaging, as always! I am so happy to have you back! 🙂
What a beautiful gift, and the packaging itself is so very delightful 🙂
beautiful job.
This is perfection–especially the packaging!
Hi Amber, which alpha monogram set did you use, the mini or the regular set? Thanks for the idea!
I love monogrammed anything as well! This would make anyone super happy to receive and especially in the perfect little box!
Amber: Would you be so kind as to tell me where I can purchase the monogram molds that you used in the soap making? I am only finding the alpha sets which I assume you are using for digital items and not the actual molds. Am I wrong in assuming that? I cannot find where the actual mono molds are.
Hi Nancy! Great question. I actually used the Alpha stamp set to alter the mold. I used a traditional soap mold and placed the stamps inside of the mold. Hope this makes sense and helps you! Let me know if you have any other questions!
Hi! Where can I buy those stamp sets? thanks!!
