Clear & Simple Style Watch: Mini Concession Stand

Are you a die-cutting crafter? I used to avoid dies, thinking that they are too much work. After one too many times of cutting out intricate stamps, I am now a huge fan of having the coordinating dies for my stamps.

Today, I’m sharing a project that showcases just oneof the several die collections that CSS is releasing to coordinate with older sets. I was really thrilled to see that one of my favorites sets, Bucket o’ Popcorn would be getting it’s own die collection. Now, it’s super easy to create a project with kernels popping off the page.

For today’s project, I’ve created a colorful and fun concession tray that is perfect for movie night with friends. With the help of my dies, this project came together in minutes…seriously! In the time it took me to pop the popcorn for the tray, I was done.

Here’s a little tour of this awesome mini concession stand that you should definitely have at your next movie night!
I filled a tray with bags of popcorn, mini bags of M&M’s and a fun banner sign featuring the die cuts from Bucket O Popcorn!
The new dies make it really easy to create dimension on your popcorn bucket. It’s like they are really popping right off the paper!
For the label portion of this project, I used the Favor Flags dies and stamps to create a coordinating banner.
The Bucket O Popcorn die set also comes with a popcorn bucket label. I used this shape to label the flavor of popcorn in each of my bags. And if you’d curious – these bags are available at one of my favorite online supply sites: Shop Sweet Lulu!
 Thanks for stopping by!
