Hello Damask Lovers!
I am in the midst of some serious crafting right now. Magazine calls. Challenges. Gifts for friends. Currently, my apartment is a sea of cardstock scraps.
*Note: Stay tuned for a fun project where I actually put all those scraps to use!*
Among my many projects, is a card for this week’s Trigger Tuesday challenge.
Here’s the inspiration image – beautiful, right?
Now, let me be honest. As beautiful as this photo is – those muted pastels freak me out a little bit.
There is not much about me that is muted.
1) I am loud – I usually just tell people that God set my volume on “HIGH”
2) I dress like markers – according to one of my best friends.
3) I experience emotions in extremes – I’m pretty sure I’d be just as excited to win the lottery as I would be to get a compliment on my shoes – excitement comes easily for me!
So…for this challenge, I infused some color but in a muted pastel palette.
I used Clear & Simple Stamps “In Bloom” set – which features wonderful floral and leaf images.
I embossed the stamps then colored them in with watercolors markers.
The result is colorful, but soft…I can handle that!
Head over to Moxie Fab to add your own take on this week’s challenge! I can’t wait to see all the other projects!
Thanks for stopping by for some Damask Love!
