EASY ENVELOPE SCRAPBOOK WITH CANON PORTABLE PHOTO PRINTERS

Summer calls for lots of fun and lots of memory making! With this easy envelope scrapbook and the help of my favorite portable Canon photo printers, you will remember your summer for years to come. This project is so simple that it’s perfect for getting the kids involved. All you need are a few simple crafting supplies – and of course a portable Canon photo printer. My favorites are the Canon SELPHY Square QX10 and the Canon IVY Mini Photo Printer. Both are incredibly compact and can travel with you to all your summertime adventures.

To get started on your envelope scrapbook, here’s what you’ll need:

  • A portable Canon Photo Printer like the Canon SELPHY Square QX10 or the Canon IVY Mini. Both work perfectly for this project.
  • Envelopes
  • Two pieces of scrapbook paper cut to the same size as the envelopes
  • Scrapbook paper cut to be slightly smaller than the envelopes
  • Gluestick
  • Washi tape

Step 1: Place two envelopes on your table as shown, then flip over the envelope on the right.

Step 2: Apply glue to the flap of the envelope on the left as shown.

Step 3: Glue down the flap onto the other envelope.

Step 4: Continue connecting your envelopes in this manner until you’ve created a booklet.

Step 5: Use scrapbook paper to create a cover on the booklet and use washi tape to cover the “binding” of the booklet.

Step 5: Use scrapbook paper to create a cover on the booklet and use washi tape to cover the “binding” of the booklet.

Once your scrapbook is complete, print off some photos with your Canon SELPHY Square QX10 or Canon IVY Mini. Both printers offer a peel-and-stick backing on the photo paper which means you can quickly and easily add these to your scrapbook.

This project is the perfect on-the-go activity for kids. Make the envelope scrapbook before you head out of town and bring your Canon SELPHY Square QX10 or Canon IVY Mini with you to fill the scrapbook during your trip!
