No one likes a one-hit wonder…except of course if we’re talking about “Ice Ice Baby” …in which case, we call all agree that one-hit-wonders are awesome. When it comes to spending your money on crafting supplies, one-hit wonders are not nearly as great as that Vanilla Ice song. It’s always nice to find lots of ways to use one products. The Bottle Tag die from Clear & Simple Stamps fits the bill perfectly!
In addition to using this bottle tag to dress up wine bottles and such, what if I told you that you could make a customized charging station with this die!?! Welp – you can! Here’s how:
{1} Piece of chipboard die cut from the top portion of the bottle tag die.
{2} Piece of white paper cut from the die as shown and stamped in your choice of pattern.
{3} Die cut of the bottle tag in your choice of color
{ASSEMBLY} Simply adhere the chipboard between the bottle tag die cut and the patterned paper and assemble the rest of the die cut as usual.
Of course you can decorate your bottle tag in any way you wish! I chose to add monograms to mine. These are perfect for personalizing the tags and making sure everyone phone in your house as it’s only little home!

Awesome project! With my budget “One hit” supplies don’t run in my craft room. Oh and in case you didn’t notice my name starts with an L so you can send that one to me 🙂
Great project! I’ve seen these in magazines, but to make one is awesome!
Pretty charging stations! Is there any problem having the paper resting on the plug prongs?
great question! I’ve been using mine with no problems. If you wanted to hang it from the plug rather than the prongs, you could extend the length of the tag die using the tip in the post. That way you’d still have plenty of room for your phone.Hope this helps!
Very clever 🙂
Super creative project with the bottle die … love how you came up with another totally different use for that one.
You are so clever, Amber! Thanks so much for this really great idea…I love it!
THis is such a brilliant idea!
