At this very moment, I have toothpicks in my eyelids. It’s the only things keeping me awake! This week has been amazing, crazy, funny, exhausting…but most of all rewarding. Damask Love Live is in the books and later this week , I’ll be sharing recaps of the workshop. If you follow Damask Love on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter, you can take a a peek at the tons of photos we took.
With the workshop done, I’m excited to be back to blogging! Today’s issue of Style Watch is all about my love of food and crafting. Let’s be honest. If I’m not crafting. I’m in the kitchen. This project combines the best of both.
Recipe boxes have long had a strong presence in the crafting world – and today I have a template for you that will allow you to create your own recipe box with just two sheets of cardstock! Once I assembled my recipe box, I filled it up with several handmade stationery goodies that any crafty chef would love!
Trim cardstock to 11 x 8.25″

{C} Score at 5 1/2″
{D} Score at 2 1/2″
{E} Score at 1/2″
Cut along solid lines and fold along dotted lines. Assemble with strong adhesive

Inside my recipe box, I piled in this fun collection of kitchen themed goodies stamped with several sets from Clear and Simple Stamps Collection 7. I especially love this notebook! It’s completely handmade including a bookbinding technique that I’ll be teaching you very soon!
Hope you’re inspired to create a recipe box of your own! I’d love to see what you come up with!

Beautiful set, too!! <looking forward "hearing" all about the workshop! Try matchsticks for your eyes – they're not as sharp as toothpicks :oP
Congratulations on your wonderful weekend. Wish I had been there. Toothpicks in your eyes reminds me of the Mr Bean movie. I was in Cannes last night for an amazing firework display. This is your kinda of place. Full of style, just like you. Have a great week.
best wishes.

I would have loved to be a part of the big party. Thank you for the tutorial for this cute and fun recipe box – is there a link to print the top and bottom box in the exact size on the 8.5 x 11 sheet?

I have been a fan of baking twine for a long time. I love to bake and give my goodies away. Making the packaging is almost as much fun as baking.
Thanks for the template! I LOVE the tags you made for this set. And the pink mixer gave me a chuckle. I have a light pink kitchen aid mixer that my husband uses all the time. 🙂
Awesome project! Thanks for sharing the tutorial!
