Today is a gonna be a fun day here at Damask Love!
Not only do I have a Valentine’s project to feature, but I will also be participating in a Papertrey Ink Contest. The prize? Over $700 in PTI product!!!
February marks the anniversary of Papertrey Ink and to commemorate the special occassion, PTI has issued the first of several contests to come!
The challenge is to choose my favorite projects which feature PTI products!
First, I’d like the showcase a Valentine’s Day card that features a single stamp – PTI, of course!
I channeled every ounce of vintage inspiration in my body to make this card. Mounting the card on acetate gives it a cool feel – at least I think so!
I loved weaving the gold ribbon into the die cut doily, and how about that rose paper!? So beautiful! I bought it at a little paper shop in Berkeley, California – I wish I purchased more!
I used the PTI Tea Duo to distres the doily and mute it’s stark white color.
And the envelope is decked out with a liner made from my Martha Stewart Valentine’s Designer Paper Pack and a stamp on the front from PTI’s Love Birds stamp set.
The next two projects do not have a Valentine’s theme, but they are some of my absolute favorite PTI creations.
The first is a super clean and simple card mounted on white cardstock.
I just love, love, love the suggestion of a birthday card, without actually using the word “birthday”!
And of course there is a coordinating envelope, which you can see peeking out from behind the card.
My next project is all about shades of blue.
Simple, clean and refreshing.
Come back tomorrow for the last day of my week o’ Valentine’s projects – I think you’re gonna like them!
