Temptation warning!
If you don’t already own a Cricut Explore or Cricut Maker there’s a very good chance that today’s project will have you running for the stores to get one! Today we are tackling an AWESOME technique that I’m calling “striped vinyl” and I promise you – it’s so so easy! You will need:
- Strips of Assorted Iron On vinyl Colors
- 10×10 Basswood Canvas
- Cricut Felt Sampler in Carousel
- Cricut Maker
- Cricut Easy Press
- Cricut Adhesive Transfer Tape

STEP ONE:
Place the strips of iron-on, facedown on to the adhesive side of a piece of transfer tape. Make sure your transfer tape is large enough to accommodate the image you will cut from it.
STEP TWO
Use your Cricut Maker to cut the images from vinyl and felt. Use a weeding tool on the striped vinyl egg to remove excess pieces.

STEP THREE:
Place the striped vinyl egg onto the wood canvas, then cover with fabric. This will help protect the transfer tape that is still in place. Use the Easy Press to adhere the striped vinyl onto the wood canvas.
STEP FOUR
Use craft glue or hot glue to adhere the felt pieces of the chick image.
