The nursery is coming along. We spent yesterday removing all of the craft room shelving and patching any holes in the drywall. Most of my crafting supplies are currently housed in big boxes, which means quick and easy projects are my go-to. Even if you offered me a million bucks to find my paper trimmer, I don’t think I could do it! Luckily, today’s installment of ELSM requires very, very few supplies and even less know-how. If you can use a pair of scissors and a ruler, you can make these incredibly adorable bows.
{1} Pinch together the center of the 2.5″ x 4.5″ piece of felt. If you want, you can use the glue gun to secure the felt in this position.
{2} Cut triangles from the center and ends of the 1.5″ x 6″ piece of felt.
{3} Pinch the center of this strip as shown.
{4} Wrap the smallest piece of felt around the center and secure with hot glue.
I’m sure you can come up with a million ways to use these bows! I’d love to hear how you would use yours! For gift wrap? Hair bows? Holiday decor? Share your idea in the comments to keep us all inspired!
cute… and you are on the mark with wool felt! usually ‘sold by the yard’ at JoAnn’s but you don’t have to buy a whole yard
Adorable bows! I too prefer the look of wool felt – I usually get mine form Papertrey Ink.
Love this easy to make bow. I can see packaging jewelry in aqua bags or boxes with a white bow to resemble something coming from Tiffany’s. These bows could also be made into hair clips or pins. Thank you for the inspiration.
The hubs just brought down my “must have” supplies and packed up the rest. Got one of those cart things, not the IKEA one but one from Michael’s with a coupon 😉 Stamps, inks & paper. Felt so good to purge! Went out a bought two new sets of baby clothes to celebrate. LOL. I wish sometimes I was having a girl to make all these cute hair bows for.
Hey this is kinda of off topic but I was wanting
to know if blogs use WYSIWYG editors or if you have to manually code
with HTML. I’m starting a blog soon but have no coding skills so I wanted to get guidance from someone with
experience. Any help would be enormously appreciated!
What’s up to all, the contents existing at this website are
actually awesome for people experience, well, keep up the good work fellows.
I’m truly enjoying the design and layout of your blog.
It’s a very easy on the eyes which makes it much
more enjoyable for me to come here and visit more often. Did you hire out a designer
to create your theme? Excellent work!

Solid color ribbons are very beautiful. Thank you for sharing this post. We can’t wait to make this bow. Keep posted.
These bows are adorable! I would love to sew these on the back of a racer back shirt. Do you think I would be able to use the same technique with a different fabric and if so do you have any suggestions?
Thanks!
These are so easy, and very cute.
I bought little fabric squares from Walmart ,not felt but still look super cute! I’m starting an at home business since I’m a new mommy. BABY BOWS BOUTIQUE. And they look adorable, can’t wait to try the felt! I’m sure it will look even beter!
