This week in baby news: our child is a serious busy body. And he’s not even born yet. I went in for a routine ultrasound this week and this kid moved and kicked and swirled and punched for an entire 45 minutes. The ultrasound tech had to chase him around in order to get all the measurements she needed. He definitely made her earn her paycheck that day! Pretty sure he’s gonna grow up to be a member of Cirque du Soliel…or maybe a ninja. Whatever he grows up to be, I know that I’m in for years of staying very busy with this guy. I’m totally fine with that, but I’d better familiarize myself with super simple craft projects that I can complete before he gets himself into anything too dangerous.
Today’s project fits the bill. With back to school season in full swing, projects like this will be great as a last minute gift for your favorite teacher…because everyone loves a gift card. Especially when it’s packaged up as adorably as these.
{1} You’ll need an 8.5″ x 4.25″ piece of cardstock that is scored at 3″ and 6.5″
{2} A 4″ x 3″ piece of cardstock
{3} A ruler
{4} A tape runner or other good adhesive
{6} Craft knife
All that’s left to do is dress up your envelope with a little ribbon and a tag. This project only takes minutes! Gotta love that, right?
