Blog: Damask Love…Where are you?!!

October 1, 2013

Did you think I feel off the face of the planet? Well, you will be happy to know that I am still here on planet earth, but have had to take a break from blogging because I am currently studying for my national licensing exam.

As many of you know, by day, I work as a pediatric psychologist and up until recently, my job hasn’t required me to take the licensing exam. Now, in lieu of crafting up cool, fun projects, I am knee deep in notes, charts and pages upon pages of highlighted text. ย I am doing my best to memorize medications, therapy techniques brain structures and all sorts of details info that has absolutely nothing to do with paper crafting. When I started studying, I had this grand idea of being able to study and post to the blog regularly. Then I had a reality check. Much to my disappointment, I’ve had to put my beloved blog on hold until this test is over…which is only 10 days away…YIKES! I’m praying that I pass on the first try, so that I can get back to my usual schedule of blog posting.

I hope you’ll stick with me! I have tons of content just waiting to be posted, and as soon as I’m done with my exam, I’ll be back and better than ever! Until then, feel free to send me all your prayers and magical test taking fairy dust!
