DIY: The Return of Toile: Special Valentine’s Day Issue

January 29, 2014

Toile is back in town and this time it’s wrapped up in pink and red.

I’m sorta loving this whole e-magazine thing and I hope you are too. This time around, I’m inviting you to a crafting party and sharing some lovely, simple projects with you to get your Valentine’s Day started right.  Thanks to the kind people at Minted, my party was decked out in style and I’m hoping you find some inspiration to host a crafting shindig of your own.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on this special issue of Toile so be sure to comment here or on the Damask Love Facebook or Instagram pages. It’s not a party until you get in on the action, so go ahead and say your piece.

For those of you who spend half your life on Pinterest (I may or may not be one of those people) – here’s a fancy dancy Pinnable image for you to bookmark this issue of Toile as a reminder to come back for more Valentinesy crafting. Yes, Valentinesy. I just made that up.

  1. This is so wonderful, Amber…I love it! So full of such cute little things. I’ll have to read it at least three more times to make sure I’ve seen it all. Thank you so much for putting this together!

    1. I have a special place in my heart for “cute little things” so I’m happy to hear that you think there are plenty of them in the magazine! Thanks for reading Toile and leaving such a nice comment!

  2. Love it all and want to make the Clearly simple project but once I cut my cardstock and scored it I could not figure out how to do the rest. Any chance of step by step photos. Thanks for all of this. You went to LOTS of work. Beautiful production.

    1. Hi Sue! I’m so sorry to hear that you had trouble with this one! I just finished shooting the step outs for the project and will post the full tutorial in the next few days! Thanks so much for reading Toile and giving me your feedback! Be sure to come back for the full toot and you’ll be making treat bags in no time!

  3. I haven’t yet read this new issue but since I expect nothing but GREAT stuff, I decided to congratulate you for this hard work, that I know it gives you the same amount of pleasure to make it that give us to read it, even before I see it! THANK you for giving us this this great pleasure time! (And forgive me for the bad English!)

  4. Wowzers, Amber!!! This is amazing! So many super cute and inspiring ideas!!! Fabulous job putting this together!!!! I’m thinking you should totally start your own magazine! These online issues you do totally rock!!!

  5. Love the magazine! It is so fun to see all your favorites from different companies all in one place, and the direct links are awesome. The lemonade favors/tags and doughnuts are my favorites.

  6. I dont leave comments often enough even though I check your blog everyday…girl you are crazy talented. Thank you for spending your time, energy and talent to post your amazing projects for us to keep us all inspired.

    1. Hi Erin! Unfortunately, I don’t have a PDF of Toile that I can send out but I did just change the settings on the magazine that will allow you to download it directly from the Issuu site. Hope this helps!
