I’m not sure who decided that we should pin the tail on the donkey, but if you ask me – it’s pretty arbitrary, which is precisely why I’m teaming up with Canon and Black Lamb Studio to revamp this traditional game into something a little sassier. Instead of tails, we’ve got limes and instead of donkey’s we’ve got oversized margaritas and daquiris..sounds like the makings of a great time!
This party game will only take you a few minutes to assemble.

STEP ONE
Download the Pin the Lime on the Cocktail images designed by Black Lamb Studio and print it out on your Canon TS8020 printer. This printer comes with tons of options for printing without every using your computer! For this printable, I saved the file to my Dropbox folder and then was able to access my Dropbox account directly from the printer’s touch screen. So easy!

STEP TWO
Cut out the shapes and adhere them with a tape runner to a piece of poster board or foam core.

STEP THREE
Use a Xyron 3″ Sticker Maker to add adhesive to the lime shapes. Now it’s time to play!

This project was completed in partnership with Canon. All projects, photos and opinions are mine, mine, mine! Thanks for supporting the collaborations that keep the lights on in this joint!

Printable “Pin the Lime on the Cocktail” game looks simple, but it shows how small rules shape the whole experience. I see a similar idea in social casino systems, where clear limits and simple steps matter more than anything else. When I checked SweepStars , people often talk about how easy it is to stay in the flow without thinking much. That’s why even in light games, it helps to stay aware and not just follow the moment.
