My card is entry #6 *wink wink*
I’ve hemmed.
I’ve hawed.
I’ve tossed countless mock-ups.
I’ve listened to Eye of the Tiger no less than 12 times.
I’ve sustained myself on a diet of Fudgesicles, cherries, and sweet potato fries.
I’ve had a near death experience as I tried to sketch…and run on the treadmill at the same time.
But most importantly, I’ve made it to Round 1 of the Paper Crafts Magazine Gallery Idol Competition!!!!!
My tummy is full of butterflies and my craft room is a mess but neither can compete with the excitement I feel!
Now it’s time for me to share a few details about the card I submitted for Round 1…
This weekend was a smidge on the hectic side!
My first thought for DIY Embellishments was flowers…but I also knew I wanted to do something different and unexpected.
To ease my nerves, I decided that I needed a little Yoga. I went to class, and somewhere between my downward dog and my sun salutation, inspiration struck!

| I used a pen cap to share their little heads. |

| With the heads shaped, I did some crafty wire bending to make each figure. |
