I have a best friend. Her name is Neon.

I’m no stranger to bright colors and there are plenty in today’s post. Today, I’m joining up with Lil Inker Designs, owned by my friend and crafty lady, Laura. Each month, Laura releases all sorts of creative and unique stamps and dies…and this month I get to join her in introducing some of the newest product.

For today’s post, I have a trio of simple, bright tags that I created using the Folded Tags Dies. The design of these dies allows you to create a tag that also does double duty as a card…and with a simple alteration, you can also fit a gift card inside! I’ll show you how:

To create a gift card holder from this tag die, you’ll need to keep the edges open. If you were to adhere the sides of the tag together, the inside would be too small. The solution is super simple though – just grab a strip of cardstock.

{1} Trim a strip of 1/2″ cardstock and score it down the middle as shown.

{2} Adhere the folded strip on both open edges of the tag as shown.

{3} Once you’ve created this closure, a gift card will easily fit inside!

Easy.

For a hefty dose of color, I lined each tag with patterned paper and added a bright grommet to the top hole.
