Today is my boyfriend’s mom’s birthday – so of course a handmade card is in order!
Andrew’s mom is a super creative person and I am sure she will love the card I made for her birthday.
Happy Birthday, Cindy!!!
I used Papertrey Ink products for most of the card. I love the Little Lady stamp set – it makes it so easy to stamp ladybugs of any and all colors. I used the rock ‘n’ roll technique to add some interest to the ladybug.
I also loved making a clear card, using PTI Clearly Creative Cardstock. It’s a different medium for me and I love the way the layers look on the clear acetate paper.
Here’s a better look at all the layering. I love how the inside layers come through and add dimension from the front of the card.
And last but not least —
If you’ve been reading my blog, you know how much I love to dress up an envelope!
Have a wonderful Sunday – and come back tomorrow for some more artsy fun!
Supplies (All Papertrey unless otherwise noted):
Stamps: Little Lady, Make a Wish
Paper: Clearly Cardstock, Pure Poppy, Hibiscus Burst, Martha Stewart Valentine’s Pack, Raspberry Fizz patterned paper
Ink: True Black, Stampin’ Up Rose Red, Stampin’ Up Pretty in Pink
You’re coordinating envelopes are a definite Amber signature–love ’em!
Another cute project!! I love the acetate and Little Lady! I just got this set and posted some projects on my blog using it too. It’s so fun and I love how you used it!
Ladybug Birthday Birthday Card is one of the fabulous project…
