If you don’t like stripes, save yourself now. Turn back and you’ll be none the wiser…and we can still be friends.

Ok. Now if you’re staying – here’s the deal. I’m obsessed with stamping stripes, and ever since Clear & Simple Stamps released the new Create-A-Plaid {Large} stamp set, I have been a stripe stampin’ fool.  In all my Pinteresting, I’ve been especially inspired by combinations of florals and stripes. So that’s what I’m doing today. Let’s get this started…

So what do you think? Are you loving stripes like I’m loving stripes?

I’m trying to come up with other pairings like stripes & florals…any ideas? What other patterns or images go well with stripes?

  1. Oh I love these stamps! I saw your post yesterday and added them straight to my cart, but shipping to the UK was $85!! Woah! So I’ll just have to admire them from afar on your cards instead! 🙂

    Love Beth xx

  2. Stripes and geometrics could give a very masculine look. Thinking stripes and squares, stripes and triangles or stripes and circles. Would have to have some good contrast of scale but I can see it working.

  3. I’m a stripe fanatic as well. Love all of your cards and great inspiration. I wanted to order that awesome stripes stamp set so badly, but the shipping was soooo high for one little stamp set that I couldn’t bring myself to order it. *very sad face*

  4. I am really into florals right now and love these cards. Maybe I want Spring to PLEASE get here. Another idea with stripes would be something nautical. I guess French sailors in stripes comes to mind!

  5. I too LOVE the new stripe set and everything Amber has done with the set. Like many of you, I was shocked at the shipping costs. Maybe we can pool together to buy the sets together and get free shipping. I would be happy to then ship to you from New York.

  6. *Gasp!!!! Marvelous, Amber – amazing designs! The stripes are classic and with all the floral details – EPIC!! 🙂

  7. Your last post with the video was silly! That and this post with all the stripes – you make it look too easy. Will you be posting a tutorial on this stamp set? Because I don’t know if my stripes will come out that straight.

  8. Stripe-tastic cards! I love seeing what inspired you and adore the design of the post in general. Maybe you can’t tell I am crushing on your blog? lol

  9. Love all of these! The card with the gray and white stripes and the pink flower wreath is truly one of the most beautiful cards I have ever seen!

  10. I’m so glad you are obsessed with stamping stripes because I get to see so many beautiful card. thank you they are lovely, you have inspired me.
