Just one week ago I hung out with an awesome group of crafty ladies at the first ever Damask Love Live crafting workshop. This wasn’t you average crafternoon! There were prizes…serious prizes. Awesome swag bags. Yummy lunch. And tons of laughs. One of the funnier moment’s was when Lorraine gave her sister a piece of cardstock thinking it was double-sided adhesive. Her sister spent forever trying to get that adhesive to peel off! We all have a good laugh at that one.
I’ve gotten lots of emails from those of you who wanted to attend but couldn’t because of distance or availability. Today, I’m bringing you a little glimpse into Damask Love Live. Throughout the day I’ll be sharing some of the products, projects and even a few prizes! Posts will go up all day long, so don’t stray too far! To see everything, scroll down and follow along.
I hope you’ll enjoy this peek into Damask Love Live! I’m already planning the next one! Maybe, just maybe, I’ll see you there!
Jolly good, Amber – I have been anticipating your posts and so happy you are posting the even so quickly 🙂
Amber, I love how you incorporate ordinary items into new and cool projects.
Let me see. I have too many paper cutters. I have guillotines and rotary cutters in various shapes and sizes by various manufacturers. I’ve never met a paper cutter I didn’t love OR buy!
I have way too much paper. I have stacks of cardstock as well as designer series paper. Sure do love it though.
Stamps love them!
This was one of my favorites… Definitely a technique I will use in the future!
That is a tough one. I probably have too much of too many things! I can say with confidence that I have too many patterned papers.. Definitely a hoarding situation going on here 🙂
Stamps! Although, can you really e-v-e-r have too many stamps? 😉
I have way too much paper! More than I could use in this lifetime! Love your stamps and would love to win a set!
I have a lot of everything…but I always joke that I have enough patterned paper to wallpaper my whole house, and have some left over!!
What a great day of posts! Can’t wait for more in the book series. Thanks for sharing with us. Linda Myers, Portland, Maine
Glitter! And ribbon. I love ribbons!!
All those cards are adorbs!
I have to tell you just one thing? haha. I guess it would be paper, I’ll never use it all if I live to be 100! Thanks for the chance to win.
Scrapbook paper for sure. I love it and have been eyeing some really cute collections that were debuted during this weeks CHA. Oh man I’m in trouble!!!
It was the Corner Chomper by We R Memory Keepers actually. I love that thing 🙂
I have to pick ONE thing I have too many of?
Let’s see…
twine, ribbon, fabric, paint…beads. Uh? Can I count all of them?
Too many stamps! Oh, we’ll…
I own too many stamps but I love them all!
Probably too much paper. Doesn’t everyone? Amber that is a great stamp set. So versatile and adaptable. It will be one to go back to again and again… too bad there aren’t more of them!
Oh my… I am jonesing for that stamp set of yours and I’m embarrassed to say I own one too many stamps! They are my true weakness. Thank you for all your creativity and now a chance to own your wonderful new crafty goodness :).
My favorite recent tool purchase is the WeRMemoryKeepers punch board- it makes creating envelopes so easy!
My husband would say everything, but I will go with stamps. I have so many that there are quite a few that I still haven’t used yet. One day!
Your stamp set is perfect for everyday cards! Thanks for the chance to win.
Just wanted to say I love how you altered the journal. Will be saving details on this one for future use.
Recent tool purchase are probably cutting die’s. I don’t have a Silhouette so this is my go-to tool for crafting.
If my name is drawn, please draw another as I have a crop-a-dile! Thank you! 😀
Comment was not meant for this post. UGH!
Guess I shouldn’t be going thru blog posts this late at night. Oops!
I know all of us have a lot papers. We can never have enough of that. The one thing that i must have a lottttttttt would be the Tombow glue. I even put a date on the bottle everytime i take a new one to use. This is my way to monitor the usage of the glue. Weird but true!
Just one??? Oh, I have way too many “doo-dads”! All those cute little things that you put a glue dot on and adhere to your paper to make that card just a wee bit more special….they are my bling bling…ha – love the cards you and the ladies made at your event and this stamp set is sooo great!
I have you many embellishments that I know I’ll never use! What an awesome stamp set :).

Amber love your fabulous style. thanks for the chnce to win.
Way too many buttons in my stash. The funny thing is I so seldom use them on my projects but they are so pretty lined up in their tubes in my craftroom. LOL!
Thanks Amber for a glimpse into your wonderful event. I hope to have time this week to try out some of these items. TFS.
I really appreciate you posting these fab photos!
too many of a crafting supply? pah on that! I love all of my many jars of buttons, basket after basket filled with ribbons and trims, many files filled with gorgeous papers….. the list could just go on and on! they all make me happy! 🙂
I have way too many stamps. But, when I think I am going to pare down I find a use for those stamps that are in the giveaway pile.
I can tell how much fun your class was but I knew that ahead of time – it’s You! I probably have too much patterned cardstock but, really, can there be such a thing! My last wonderful tool was my Silhouette!
I just bought the We R Memory Keepers envelope punch. I love this. I would love a new hole punch. I have the old type that to have to twist and screw to get it to work.
I have too much of EVERYTHING!!! If I made 20 cards a day for the rest of my life I don’t think I could use all of my paper, tho!
Thanks for the chance to win

Is there such a thing as “too many” when it comes to crafting supplies? I guess I have too much paper, though. Thanks for the chance to have one more stamp set! 🙂
I have too many ribbons. Cant help it. I LOVE ribbons.
Definitely too much paper, sometimes I think it will take over…
ps. I wish I could have been there but it was too far away.
Lots and lots of too many! But I have a fetish with glue and adhesives, always trying to find the best one. The gelato’s backgrounds are beautiful. I guess that will be my next too many!
I, too, have too much of everything especially paper and stamps!
I love the background you created with gelatos and the stamp set that you designed! I have too much paper but I love it all!!
Thanks for sharing! I am going to try the gelato technique. Sure hope I am in Ca if and when you come back.
I have too much of everything! Some would say I am a stamp collector, not a stamper. But I LOVE stamping and your set is amazing. Wish I could have attended your class!
Thanks again for “the best crafting day ever!”. Everyone had a wonderful time and you’re as fun in person as you are on your blog. The projects taught me a lot of new techniques and the swag bag was amazing. Looking forward to your next Damask Love Live!
Can one ever have too much of any particular crafting supplies? Well, I guess I do have way too much patterned paper ~ couldn’t use it all in my lifetime. But, one never has too many stamps, and I am in love with your stamp set, Amber. Sounds like a great class, and I need to check in to gelatos. Thanks for all your inspiration and great sense of humor!
Ribbons!,,,ribbons in every color, width, texture and design. Love to look at them and use them on my cards. Thanks for a chance to win.

Oh Amber that’s a hard one asking us crafters who can’t say no to pretty things that call out my name… For example just the other day I was walking past some beautiful paper that I had to stop and touch and I swear the paper called my name out and said Annye you need to take me home but I already have to much paper but the paper says oh come on its just a few sheets more and I will keep the rest of your paper company at home. I couldn’t say no!! Come to think of it I couldn’t say no to the pretty flower stamps that I didn’t need either but they were so pretty and I had to have them…. Oh no the washi tape is calling my name got to go….,
You name it…I have too much of it including – count ’em…7 die cutting machines!
I have too many 6×6 paper pads. Did I just say that?? Eeeeek!
