You can add holly to anything and it immediately becomes holiday-ready! Check out these cards to see what I mean! Today I have a simple idea that is really fun for personalizing your holiday cards…or better yet, holiday “state”-tionery. Get it. Pretty good, right?
I used the Clear & Simple Stamps State-To-State die collection to create these cards. For each of the sentiments, I used greetings from the Simply Stated 2 stamp set and added in words from the Apothecary Holiday stamp set to make the greeting more appropriate for the season!
These cards would make great gifts for friends – I’m thinking of making some for all my girlfriends who are scattered across the country.
Thanks for stopping by! If you’re still in the mood for more inspiration, I have another post today…just keep scrolling!
I LOVE, LOVE these cards. Especially the “California” ones 🙂 – you are so creative!
These are adorable! Love the states! Are they dies or die cuts?? On the website they say die cuts???
Amber, these are perfect! I love the graphic feel…the design looks like letterpress. When I make cards I don’t spend a lot of time planning my designs. This can sometimes be fun, but mostly I’m left changing my design midway through. In your creative process how long do you plan your designs? Since the end result is so perfectly executed, I’m thinking that a lot of planning goes into it. 😉 Thanks!
Love this idea…..perfect for those after Christmas thank yous!!
Too cute and so clever!
So so so RAD!!!
Genius!! LOVE this very clever idea, Amber 🙂
Wow! What a cool and neat idea. This would be great for mass producing a single state or two and mail for the holidays.
I love this super cute idea. Shout out for Michigan or where ever you are from.
Are the holly and berries from dies or punches and if so from where? Very simple idea that packs a lot of punch!
Hi Amber! I LOVE this idea. Would love to know where you got the holly leaf die/punch? It looks like you added the berries with stickles, yes? Thanks for your reply!
Hi Kristie! I believe that the little holly is from a die by Papertrey Ink. I can’t remember exactly, though! If you check out the Papertrey site you will probably find something similar enough to use on this project. Hope this helps!
