The card for this challenge is inspired by my mild obsession with Moroccan decor. The bright colors. The lanterns. The pillow seats. I love it all!
To celebrate the second anniversary of my 29th birthday, my friends threw me a Moroccan inspired party! We had a belly dancer and I even got to play the finger cymbals. It didn’t take long before those finger cymbals were confiscated, though…I went a little crazy with them. Apparently people don’t like it when you bang cymbals into their ears…who knew.
Anyway, today’s card has a little bit of Moroccan inspired flair…
I love how the PTI Mat Stack #5 compliments the theme of the card! As for the sentiment – I did some digging to find something that went well with the rest of the card. I found this sentiment in my Stamping Royalty stash (which I have yet to organize and put away!)
Now before I go, there is a little business to take care of…the winner of my 100th Blog Post Celebration Scavenger Hunt. I wish I could give a prize to everyone, because I really do appreciate your taking the time to participate.
Instead, I hope you’ll accept my thanks. Thanks so so much to everyone to played along and to those who left sweet, encouraging comments! I read each one and they all made me smile.

I found your blog via Paperlicious (btw Joan says hi)…love the elephant card. And the Moroccan theme–love it…Morocco, India, China, Japan–all those decor/style elements I love to incorporate into my paper-crafting…can’t get enough of them.

very pretty, love the background you created.
Brilliant again Amber! That stamped BG does indeed say Morroco to me, and the colorful lanterns are perfect. There is just something relaxing about floor cushions and low tables, and heck…even finger cymbals! Sounds like you had a blast! I love it when you join us for CAS-ual Fridays.
