DIY Holiday Wreath Gift Box

I’m on a bit of a Cricut Explore rampage – so forgive me while I tempt you with one more project…for now.

By now you know my love for pretty gift packaging and considering we are smack in the middle of holiday season, there is no better time to pull out your gift packaging sorcery skillz. Now, if you don’t own a Cricut Explore, you could totally use this project as inspiration for putting your other tools to use. Either you could get friendly with a pair of scissors – or if you have a manual die cutting machine, you could use some of your dies to create the same shapes I use here. No matter how you tackle this gift box, you’ll want to make one. It’s just to pretty to pass up. Here’s how I made mine.

A note about supplies:

  • the paper mache box is something you can snag at your local craft store. They come in a variety of sizes, so you can customize the project to whatever gift you may need to package up.
  • let’s talk about those wreath shapes. I simply searched around in Cricut Design Space until I found a shape that I liked. If you’d like to use my exact same template, I’ve saved it here and I’m happy to share! HERE’S the link to it. Everything is sized and ready to go. Just hit “Go”

Supplies Not Shown:

  • hot glue gun
  • double-sided tape
  • clear cardstock/transparency

{1} Use the 3 1/4″ circle as a template and trace it onto the top of your paper mache box

{2} Use a craft knife to carefully remove the center of the top.

{3} The finished top should have a hole cut from the center as shown.

{4} Apply double sided adhesive to the inside of the box top and adhere a piece of clear cardstock/transparency

{5} This will create a window top on the box.

{7} Use strips of the same green cardstock to cover the sides of the box.

{8} Use a hot glue gun to adhere the wreath shapes to the top and bottom of the paper mache box. Done!

Thanks for your beneficial post. In recent times, I have come to understand that the particular symptoms of mesothelioma cancer are caused by the particular build up connected fluid between your lining on the lung and the chest muscles cavity. The condition may start while in the chest spot and get distributed to other limbs. Other symptoms of pleural mesothelioma include weight loss, severe deep breathing trouble, vomiting, difficulty ingesting, and bloating of the neck and face areas. It ought to be noted that some people with the disease tend not to experience almost any serious signs at all.

With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any issues of plagorism or copyright infringement? My blog has a lot of completely unique content I’ve either created myself or outsourced but it looks like a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my authorization. Do you know any ways to help reduce content from being ripped off? I’d really appreciate it.

I have realized some new things from your web site about computer systems. Another thing I’ve always imagined is that computer systems have become an item that each house must have for a lot of reasons. They provide convenient ways to organize households, pay bills, search for information, study, pay attention to music and in many cases watch tv programs. An innovative technique to complete all of these tasks has been a laptop. These personal computers are portable ones, small, effective and portable.
