It’s pretty funny where we can find inspiration for crafting! Just the other day, for no reason at all, I had a song stuck in my head – a song from my childhood that I used to sing all the time until my mom begged me to take the concert behind the closed doors of my bedroom.
The song was from the original version of Alice in Wonderland…from the scene where the Queen’s servants painted the roses red. As I hummed the tune in my adult head, I thought about that scene of the movie. Whimsical, cartoon roses against a lush green backdrop….I could recreate that! With stamps! And I knew exactly which stamp set would work.
The Flowers stamp set from Clear and Simple Stamps has quickly become one of my favorites! I love the swirly rose images that look like something I might doodle in the margins of my notebook.
For today’s Style Watch, I took inspiration from that scene in Alice in Wonderland and created a set of rosey notecards. I topped off each card with a creatively cut frame die.
I hope you enjoy these roses as much as I do!

I noticed the desire to draw in my child for a long time. The first time it was drawings with my lipstick on the walls in the house, after that we always remembered this story with a smile. The walls were restored by the employees of this company, and we try to keep the following drawings in an album.
