Long post today, people. Hang in there, ok? I went a little crazy with the crafting and as a result, I have about eleventeen million photos to share.
I guess it makes sense, though, that today’s post would be photo heavy. I love making gift packaging. I think it has something to do with the fact that I love receiving beautiful gift packaging. I’m that person who spends five minutes oogling the packaging before ever opening it. The same person who goes to the gift wrapping department just to see what pretty samples they have up on the wall. Same girl who buys Pringles purely because the tube can makes for great cookies packaging. I actually hate Pringles. You get the idea though. I love packaging.
As luck would have it, one of the biggest perks of working with Clear and Simple Stamps is the fact that they have tons of options for making awesome gift packaging and today I’ve got project with almost all of them. Here we go…
I started by developing a mood board for the colors and embellishments I would incorporate into the ensemble. Mood boards are such a great way brainstorm in a visual way.
{1} Gable Box die cut from Creme de la Cream cardstock embellished with Mini Label Tag Dies and I Steel Got It paper strip embossed with Imprints 4 plate.
{2} Party Favor 8 die with medallion created using Grass border die.
{3} Trifold 2 die cut from Coral Necklace cardstock with banner die closure.
{4} Party Favor 1 die cut from Creme de la Cream cardstock with banner die embellishment and oval circle label.
{5} Party Favor 7 die cut from Creamsicle Cardigan cardstock with Bow Trio die cut from fabric.
{6} Cube die cut from My Style Blueprint cardstock with Tags 1 embellishment stamped with small heart from Baby Shower stamp set.
{7} Clear Pillow box lined with patterned paper and wrapped with mini bow trio die.
{8} Glassine bag with Topper die and wrapped with banner die embellishment.
{9} Party Favor 2 die cut from Creamsicle Cardigan cardstock with lid embossed with Imprints 4 plate, wrapped with mini bow trio die .
{10} Party Favor 7 die cut from I Steel Got It cardstock wrapped with Eyelet border die and handmade tissue paper embellishment.
The newest additions to the Clear and Simple Stamps gift packaging roster include two dies: one for a favor box and another for creating beautiful bows. I’ve come up with another quick project to share these newbies with you.
For these cuties, I die cut the Party Favor 8 die from pastel cardstock. Since the die is approximately 12″ long, you won’t be able to get a full cut from traditional 8 1/2″ x 11″ cardstock. In this case, I solved that by creating a pretty scalloped edge and then extending the remaining part of the box with a piece of white cardstock.
And so ends our day of gift packaging! Did you likey?
Totally love that bow die.
