Who doesn’t love a spa day?! A little pampering? Some rest and relaxation? Sounds good to me!

When I saw the new Au Natural and Au Natural Extras stamp sets from Clear and Simple stamps, I was immediately in love! These stamps make it so easy and fun to bring the spa to you. The sentiments and images are absolutely perfect for throwing a spa party or creating a gift basket of spa-themed goodies!

For today’s ensemble, I pulled out several stamps as well as a bunch DIY supplies to create some homemade gifts! You are going to be seriously inspired by all that you can do with your Clear and Simple Stamps supplies…and while you’re at it, you may even get the urge to make your own soap! Just stick with me and I’ll walk you through each step!

To create this gift basket, I compiled lots of my DIY supplies to create some homemade spa treats. Before I walk you through each element of the basket, here’s a peek at the finished product, all dressed up and ready to give away!
A simple, coordinating birthday card finished off this gift basket! To create it I used, Flower Buds, Imprints 1 and Labels 11.
Now, that you’ve seen the finished projects, you can keep on scrolling for information on how each element came together and what supplies I used!
First up – the soap! I was pretty shocked to find out how easy it is to make your own! I picked up all my supplies for this project at Michael’s.
Supplies include scented oil, colorants, a soap mold (they come in lots of shapes!) and of course the soap!
First, I broke the soap into pieces and placed in a microwaveable container.
Once the soap was completely melted, I added my colorant. I chose to use a few drops of “Wine” color to the mix – which resulted in a pale pink colored soap.
To make things a bit more fancy-dancy, I added some dried lavender to the soap molds! You can also find this at Michael’s!
All that was left was to pour the soap mix into the mold and wait!
After a few hours your soap will be ready and easy to remove from the mold. To preserve the scent of the soap, I chose to wrap each bar in plastic wrap…but of course, that’s not the only wrapping I used!
To dress up these bars of soap, I stamped a piece of regular computer paper using the Flower Buds stamp set.  Then, by pinching in all four sides of the paper, I created a neat & pretty wrapping for the soap.
Once wrapped and taped securely, I used my Au Natural set to create a darling & simple label!
 Now that we’re done with the soap – how about we make some lip balm?
The supplies for this project are from Brambleberry – check out their site! You’ll love them!
To add color to your lip balm, you’ll need Mica powder, which Brambleberry has available in a sample pack of several shades.
All you need to do is melt down the balm and add your color – it’s really that simple!
Last, I poured the mix into these cute little containers which are also available at Brambleberry!
Okee, dokee  – you still with me? I have one more project to share – and this one was my favorite!
This robe is the perfect addition to a spa gift basket – I mean, who doesn’t want to laze around in a comfy cotton robe?! I picked up this robe at Target for only $16 and then set out to personalize it using my Clear and Simple Stamps supplies!
First, I grabbed some fabric scraps and adhered them to a piece of fusible interfacing using my iron.
Then, I used the Uppercase Alphabet dies and the Build-A-Flower dies to cut out the shapes I needed!
And, since I am no seamstress, I took the easy way out when it came time to adhere the letters to the robe. First I used FrayCheck on the edges of each die cut to avoid any frayed edges. Then, I used Fabri-Tac to adhere the flower and letters directly to the robe! (and in case you are wondering about the longevity of this technique, I am happy to report that I’ve worn this robe all over the house and washed it twice and it is still looking great!)
