I’ve always been a fan of “nautical.” I love stripes and if I could, I would totally wear a sailor’s hat. Pretty sure that gets you nothing but strange looks from other people, though.

Today, I’m putting my love of nautical down on paper with a few simple projects using some of Clear & Simple Stamp nautical themed products.

Nothing terribly complicated,  but I do think it packs quite a punch for gift giving or sending thank you notes.

First up is a set that I think is fun and unique: Nautical Flags

For this ensemble I went with aqua, which is a favorite crafting color of mine.

  1. Beautiful, Amber – I am feeling the urge to produce something “nautical” today! Merci, for the “push”, and huge appreciation for demonstrating the banner technique 😀

  2. Anything nautical is right up my sealane (groan). Thanks for the tip on making curved banners…how come when you do it it looks so easy?

  3. I adore the banner and will have to try it this weekend. Thanks! Do you have any tips on keeping images crisp when you stamp? I’ve tried hybrid inks several times and they seem to bleed. Then I tried less ink and while it didn’t bleed, it was pretty wash out. So sad! Any tips would be awesome!

  4. Thanks Amber for all your great step by step inspiring blog posts. I don’t know how you get time to create all these and work too! The banner idea is terrific.
I am really enjoying all the information in your blog lately. I wonder have you considering putting some of these into a book? I am the old fashioned type who loves perusing a beautiful and inspiring craft book and having all those great ideas handy.

  5. Aren’t you running out of friends to give gifts to?? :):):) Beautiful.

Oh, Tanja S., what a great idea – a book!!!!!!!

  6. Just stumbled upon your website, Love it, can’t wait to try it out. I was wondering where you purchased your little pouches? Thanks!
