You can pretty much add holly and ribbon to anything and it’s instantly holiday-ready!  Today, I’ve got two designs that put my theory to the test.

My aunt wanted some Christmas cards that would capture her two loves: coffee and writing! I immediately knew which stamps I would use, but I needed to dress them up for the holidays – Enter holly leaves and ribbon.

First up is a card I’m calling:  Christmas a la Starbucks!! It’s really simple but just so darn cute!

Next is a set of cards that I made using the Hero Arts “My Type” set.  I stamped the holly leaves with text to coordinate with the whole “typewriter” theme.
I also stamped an envie liner with text to complete the theme.

With the help of my Martha Stewart bow punch, these cards were really easy to assemble!
Thanks for stopping by today – making cards is just a little more fun with others enjoy em along with me!

  2. Super cute! I have these two stamps …somewhere. Thanks for the reminder to use them. I love your creative vision here in particular. So classic and clean, not to mention pretty in how perfectly pristine they are. So inspiring! Thank you for that.

  3. These are darling! That typewriter one is really wonderful in particular. I never know what to do with those kinds of images and what you did is so fun
