Welp, here I am.
Blog-ee (if there is such a word) turned Blogg-erhoping to be as successful with the latter as I’ve been with the former.
Until now, all my crafts have been holed up in my apartment and I figured it was time to let them out to play – crafts need friends too, ya, know?
Damask Love got it’s name because of One. Really. Obvious. Reason. – I love damask.
You know that fabric with the fleur-de-lis lookin’ pattern on it (if you don’t – just take a gander at my blog header). Well, that’s called damask, and I have a mild (read: severe) obsession with it. Somehow it manages to be both modern and classic, both funky and traditional – just like my crafting.
So, here I am with all my love for damask, all my love for craftiness and all my love for creativity.
I’m excited to begin my blog-ventures (defined: blog+adventures) …and as much as I love creativity for creativity’s sake – maybe just maybe, I can offer some inspiration along the way.

With that said, let’s get this thing crackalackin!

Come back tomorrow -when the fun starts with my first “real” post (the kind with pictures and stuff!)

Keep on crafting with these other posts

  1. Hi Dr. Amber! Will you be open to maybe a Q&A post every week? Por ejemplo – I cannot cook fish to save my life, but I’d like to eat more healthfully – any suggestions?

  2. Welcome to the other side of blogs. Yours looks fantastic and captures both a classic and contemporary feel. I started my blog this year and have been enjoying it thus far. Even more fun than the crafting has been the writing of the posts. Hope you enjoy it all.

  3. Yayyyyyyyy, Amber!!! I can’t wait to read about you and your creations. You’ll love sharing your cards with the blogging world….and….the blogging world will love you!

  4. MARGIE!! I’m so flattered that you came to my blog! I am definitely up for selling some personalized cards for your girlfriends! I’m gonna email you so we can figure out what to do:-)

  5. Hi, I’ve seen you on “Making It” and I think you are SUCH an inspiration. Because o you, I’ve decided that I can be creative and that I’m not boring. I just wanted to send you this in case you needed some encouragement.

    1. Valentina! Thanks so much for leaving a comment. I’m honored that you found me and were inspired to be more creative in your life! That’s amazing and I wish you the best of luck!!

  6. ( P.S. Please follow my blog! I feel really down because no one reads my blog, and I think I might quit, and you are a LEGEND to me, even though I don’t do a craft blog.)
