IMG_1039Think outside the box. Or, better yet…outside the basket. Who says that Easter baskets have to include bunnies and carrots? Not me.  It’s crazy easy to turn traditional plastic eggs into cute strawberries! This idea would definitely work for summertime too – just grab a bunch of eggs in the after-Easter sale and save them for you berry sweet soirees!

BerryBasketStoryboardThese little berries really couldn’t be easier to assemble. Just add some “seeds” with the marker and adhere the leaves to the wide end of the plastic egg.

I tucked mine into the berry basket and added a handle with Ocean Tides cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I finished off the set with a itty-bitty sign stamped from the Clear & Simple Stamps Perfect Harvest Fillers Stamp Set.
