It’s all fun and games until they tell you to push.
I remember when I was in labor with Markus. Everything went really well, but man – when those stadium lights came on and it was time to push, I was like  – “oh” – “you want me to make this baby come to the outside?” Well, damn. Things just got real.
Not that I’m comparing this blog to childbirth. But, um… I kind of am comparing it to childbirth.
We’ve been working behind the scenes to get this thing fully baked and now it’s here…and things just got real.
Here’s a rundown of what’s new for your eyeballs:
Homepage is bangin’:
Damask Love is so much more than a single tutorial or post. This blog is full of ideas and projects that you can use for every occasion. This is why we totally revamped the homepage to give you a ton of ways to find content that gets you in the mood to make. At the top of the homepage, you’ll find the most recent posts, but as you keep scrolling you’ll find even more content including some of my most popular DIY’s and crafts.
Mobile made amazing:
Next time you head into a boring meeting, be sure you’ve got your phone or tablet. Sneak it under the table and pay me a visit. The new Damask Love is totally mobile friendly which will make it so much easier to ignore everything going on in that meeting and attend to more important issues. Like glitter.
Categories and tags that make sense:
What’s the point of awesome content when you can’t find anything? It’s like telling Kanye to tap into his humble side. Pointless. Lucky for you, I’ve reorganized this joint and you can find exactly what you’re looking for. The categories are refined into meaningful groups and you’ll also find tags at the end of each individual post to help you dig deeper into specific content that interests you.
Enabling at your finger tips:
I am nothing if not the world’s best spender of other people’s money. What can I say. It’s a talent. To make sure you are spending your greenbacks on the greatest, I’ve put together a page of my very favorite crafting and blogging goods. Visit the “shop” link and see what I’m using in my own craftroom. Then get you some. That’s an order.
Craft 101…Finally!
It has been a huge, huge, huge goal of mine to produce a video library of simple crafting techniques…and today is the day that it’s happening! “Excited” is not even the word to describe how I’m feeling! Craft 101 is such an accomplishment for me and I can’t wait to watch the catalog of videos grow. Craft 101 is a place for beginners and experienced crafters alike to find quick and clear information about basic crafting techniques. Each tutorial video is one minute in length – because, let’s be honest, any longer than that and you start getting distracted by…well…by anything.
So now that you’ve got the lay of the land, get yourself a glass of whatever you’re drinkin’ and sit a spell. It’s about to get real crafty up in here. I can’t wait to hear what you think!
And before I go, howsabout a big hip hip hooray for Roundhouse Designs. Those guys know a thing or two about a thing or two.

Keep on crafting with these other posts

  9. I was on my usual online stroll, looking for a good time when I stumbled upon this gem – the Online Casino at https://conquestador.com/en-nz/game/chinese-new-year. Now, I thought I’d hit the jackpot with festive vibes, right? Little did I know, besides the dragons and lanterns, they’ve got a sneaky link for writing services. I went from spinning lucky reels to contemplating a different kind of luck – essay writing luck, if you can believe it. It was like a virtual lantern leading me into the unknown territory of casino-inspired academic musings. Who’d have thought? If you ever find yourself in need of both luck and wordsmithery, check here. Life’s a wild ride, and sometimes you end up in unexpected places. Cheers to virtual celebrations and the unpredictability of online adventures!
