I plan to repost the Hop when the Paper Crafts Go-To-Sketches issue hits newstands, giving us rejects another chance to share our creativity!

I’ve added a toolbar below the blog header, making it super easy to navigate your way around Damask Love.
Don’t forget to vote in the polls, to decide the fate of future Reject Blog Hops >>>>

It’s no secret around here that I love bright colors!

I’ve also mentioned my affinity for home decor and the fabulous inspiration it can provide in my papercrafting.

Today’s card is where home decor and bright colors meet.
I was inspired by this crazily bright kitchen – probably impractical for everyday life, but seriously fun to look at – and translate into a papercrafting project.

I developed the color story by choosing shades that I love  – and shades I would love to use in a project.

Here’s my papercrafting translation of this room:
My “half-bow” makes another appearance on this card, this time finished off with a sparkly button.
Those Thickers letters add the perfect punch of pink and great depth to the simple sentiment.
Thanks for stopping by for some Damask Love!
